It is an established class which obtained by the epoxidation of natural rubber
latex (NR Latex). Production of ENR incorporates a stringent quality control to
ensure the quality of material produced. All ENR produced is subjected to
comprehensive analytical tests including determination of expoxidation level
via Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) ... etc.

1.3.2 DPNR (DEPROTEINIZED NATURAL RUBBER)

It is a new modified generation of earlier DPNR version. It is produced by
treating fresh natural latex with an industrial enzyme which hydrolyses all
naturally occuring proteins in latex into water-soluble forms. It contains
about 96% rubber hydrocarbons compared to about 93% in commercial
standard Malaysian Rubber (SMR) grades. The removal of these non-rubber
compounds confers special attributes to the rubber, which enhances its
suitability for specialized rubber products applications.
